Costa del Silencio Tenerife - little away from tourist centres on sunny south

Costa del Silencio is a resort on the sunny southern coast of Tenerife, ideal for those who don´t want to be in the busy tourist centres of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. Costa del Silencio is a quiet place, as the meaning of its name already indicates: "Quiet Coast" Over the last few years, the municipality has developed and offers to the vacationers all they need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Costa del Silencio is the most southern point of Tenerife and has plenty of bars and restaurants as well as a beautiful promenade which leads to the village of Las Galletas where you´ll find a harbour and a beach. In the village of Costa del Silencio itself, you can get into the sea by a few stepladders so nothing will hold you back from swimming. It´s a lovely place to go for a walk or take the little path along the cliffs that leads you to the village of Palm-Mar, some 8 km away.

For those who want some hustle and bustle: you can´t go on foot to Las Americas or Los Cristianos but you have buses going there regularly so you don´t need to rent a car.
