Las Galletas - on the southern end of Tenerife

The former fishing village of Las Galletas lies on the most southern end of Tenerife like its neighbouring tourist village of Costa del Silencio . The village has  a small harbour where you can buy freshly caught fish from the stalls. It has a beautiful promenade which reaches into the next village. It has a bay for bathing and enough shopping facilities. When you drive through the village it won't strike you as if there are many shops but they are all in the little side streets, which are best reached on foot. It is an ideal holiday destination as you are not in the middle of the tourist centre of  Las Americas or Los Cristianos but  still want to enjjoy it. You can reach both Las Americas and Los Cristianos in 10 minutes by car.
