Los Realejos - Suburbs of Puerto de la Cruz/Tenerife

Los Realejos with almost 37.000 inhabitants is just bigger than its neighbouring town Puerto de la Cruz although Puerto de la Cruz is better known as the tourist centre in the north. Los Realojos is a lively town with a centre that is populated by the Canarians. On the outskirts of town towards the sea, you will find some urbanisations, like Romantika I and Romantika II that are occupied mostly by foreigners and people that are staying in the winter months. It has a good tourist infrastructure, e.g tennis clubs, different bars and restaurants. The latter you'll find of course in the centre of town where you can enjoy the local Canarias kitchen.
