Santa Ursula - Tenerife

Santa Ursula is situated between Puerto de la Cruz and La Matanza. The municipality is just outside the valley of Orotava and is therefore not so often overcasted by the typical trade-wind clouds. The sun shines more often here than in Puerto de la Cruz. The typical Canarias town centre with its shops, town hall and church is located right above the motorway. Underneath the motorway, as it is a very quiet area, you will find some urbanisations with beautiful villas and apartment buildings but it is mainly rural. The area is very well known for its wine and it is a popular place for foreign residents (especially German speaking).
